Jeff; I remember that video
I had Bruce (Hook Em) with me today for my first "in season" trip. I hadn't heard much good news either over the weekend, but C.J. called with a report of a bite way south of Deale.
Since I didn't spend any fuel this weekend, what the heck, let's run
Bruce and I put 4 fish over the gunnel (2 keepers, 2 shorts) and had two other knockdowns off the boards.
Lines in around 9am; pulled lines at 12:55pm for the long ride home.
Washed the boat while Bruce cleaned fish
Heard the bite was even better before we got there, but a good day none the less.
More bait/fish outside of the channel today. Caught everything in 40-50 ft Western side.
