How many rods do you troll

When I"m solo on the Hoopty, I'll run one board pulling a mix of tandems and solos totaling 6 rods then 4 deep off the back and and other side. If I have company I'll pull up to 14. I've installed zero degree rod holders and use temporary bow rail holders up front to handle the extra rods. A word of warning; check your temp or adjustable rod holders often. To answer the question, I ran 12 all last year...this year, I'm getting overzealous...maybe 14! I'm trying to get rid of my planer boards and run only boat rods though thanks to some help from a great guy (no names mentioned....Steve) I may have it nailed down!! Then I'll be running 9!
