Default 1st trip of the Year, 2-6-16

Talk about bankers hours!!
We had a fabulous day on Saturday, met up at 8:00, got gas and stopped by the grocery and didn't launch at Ches Beach until 10:00. We were able to run south at 40mph over glassy seas. The wind kicked up by the time we headed to the barn and had a tough time running at 22-28mph. Fished from about 10:45 to 2:15. We didn't light it up, but we caught fish. I think I caught 12-15 fish ranging is size from 20"-29", Mike caught the biggest at 30" and Kevin held his own and captained the boat with expertise. They were using all sorts of small to large plastics, I only used BKD's, 6" and 10". I did see 2 Gannets cruising around.
