Default Looky looky here! Look what Big G caught...

....and by Big G I mean Garlien.

Right before the "incident" yesterday Mike's lure found it's way into this beast's mouth. About 14 pounds and 32" long

Woah!! Where did you catch it? I'm not looking for honey hole numbers, just general areas. Were you up one of the rivers, or were you in the main stem of the bay? Congratulations on that pig! Time to break out he chicken livers!!

We've been catching them IN the bay....a few miles north of the bridge, but near the shorelines.

And you don't have to break out the stinky baits; we've caught dozens of these big boys on crankbaits!!!

Scott, we caught 2 catfish this past Saturday right at the bridge and both of them were right around 8lbs and caught them on a BKD. You never know what your going to catch in the bay now.

Crazy, aint it?

And with the rain this week it looks like they'll probably stick around even longer with the lower salinity.

I love a good catfish fight, especially on light tackle. Catching Rockfish that size is still the big prize of course.

But I do love me some deep fried catfish too.
