Default Saturday Report

First off, thanks to Don (Hunter) for helping make the day a lot more fun than it would have been...

Headed across Belvedere to the east...Did not see any birds for the first 30 to 45 minutes or breaking fish...Finally Scott (Spot77) saw a few huge schools of bait (no birds) and we headed through and around the schools...Started picking up blues in the 16 to 18 inch range (they were nice and fat)...Was able to make it a rock and blues adventure for the next hour or so, Scott had picked up a bunch of perch earlier in the day so the 3 species day was not bad at all..Then headed back west towards home...Western side was not producing at all around snake reef and north as it got dark...Finally headed home....

Fish hit Captain John spreader bars both pre-rigged by John and some that I have put smaller drone spoons on...Fish were not really in any water 20 foot and above...The action was all in deeper water...

Have to give John credit, those spreaders, umbrellas, lures really do work...If you have not tried them, you should...
