Default Rod is back!!

Steve Fogle built me a jigging rod this spring and I have used it for everything from catching spot (keep that part quiet), to livelinning, and yes some jigging too.
I somehow broke the tip. Although I use it for everything, I try not to abuse it. However, the tip got broken and I wanted Steve to replace the tip, so that the rod looked brand new.
I got in touch with him, and made arrangements to get the rod back to him (thanks Don/Hunter). Steve replaced the tip and the rod looks perfect. He did this all while dealing with a family emergency.
While I was willing to wait, Steve wanted the rod back in my hands ASAP.
He wouldn't even take any compensation for his efforts.
If anyone is looking for a custom rod that you can be proud to take on anyones boat and fish for nearly every species in the bay, give Steve a call.

Thanks Steve

Marty,
I’m glad that Don and I got hooked up so that you could get that rod back in your hands and do some LTJ. Thanks so much for the plug I really appreciate it. Things are a little better with my brother but we still have a long ways to go. Let me know if you need anything else and I'll take care of ya...

Steve,

I'm thinking about treating myself to a new medium action bass (Largemouth) rod next spring.

I mainly spincast chatterbaits and texas rigged soft baits like worms and lizards.

I usually don't spend more than about $100 on a good combo, but I got a swet Okuma reel as a birthday gift last year and I's like to mount it on something special.

So do you handle things like that too?

Steve; take care of your brother. My prayers are with him for a full recovery.

It kind of puts things into perspective.
