Default Friday 4/25 north of BB

Rolled the dice and stopped short of the original altered plan. Had a limited time frame to fish today and after hearing reports from yesterday, I planned to run way south in search of clean water. Once we got out there, water didn't look too bad up north. Decided to stop short of the bridge and deploy 14 rods.
Caught a 34", 36", and a just over 40". 2 fish on white and 1 on green, 2 on boards and 1 on a boat rod. Approximately 40' of water. Lines in at 7:15 and done by 9:00.
Sounds like we got really lucky today as several great fishermen were struggling to the south of us. I had a guest that had never caught a rock before so he reeled in everything. I'm headed to AZ for a few days so glad I was able to get on some nice fish before leaving. Guess a blind squirrel does find a nut every now and then!

Downside of the day - Finished too early to go to Mikes

Glad you got a few Jeff.

I have heard reports from Deale to the Bridge where the bite has slowed significantly.

SLOW Day friday....got a late start and managed three around 85A. Lot of life on the meter, just couldn't find another three suicidal fish before we ran out of time. Most boats came back in the creek with 1-3 fish, hope it gets better soon.
