If anyone is interested; I will be giving a power point seminar on "Fish Handlers Disease" at the Pasadena Sportfishing Group meeting at Early Heights Fire Hall on Ritchie Highway. The meeting is Monday night (5/14) and the meeting starts 7:30 pm. Doors open at 6pm for food and drink.
The same organism (Mycobacteria marinum) that causes the human disease, also causes the sores and legions on rockfish.
If you want to find out about ways to protect yourself from exposure, come to the meeting, grab a beer and a hotdog
