20+ knot winds may put a damper on the show... Jeff, I doubt if you will have a problem, but the rules are arbitrary, differ from agency to agency, and even within agencies. I was warned to stay out of the channel, and stay 1500 yards away, at all times. Another boat was told to stay 100ft away from the warships, and another boat was told to "keep an eye out for incoming ships, and to move out of the channel for approaching traffic". I think I am going to play in the woods this weekend, or if it rains, Patrone and a couple of movies with my girl... We were just inside the KB during the Angel's practice, got some good pics. Take a decent camera, one with video, and a good zoom.
