Default Chart Symbols

I have Navionics GPS on my boat and sometimes I find on the chart symbols and abbreviations that are not standard on charts. Can anyone tell be where I can find a list of the symbols for Navionics. I have tried their web site without success.
Thanks
Capt Bill

I know what you mean; why are there red "tweety birds" on the chart

I usually ignore the things I don't use (and don't know what they mean).

I mostly use mine for "contour lines", shading between shallow and deep water, and most often "predicted current".

The current is the ARROW showing incoming or outgoing.
The tide is a rectangle bar.

By touching the screen, you should get a crosshairs that you can move on top of an icon to find information about what you just selected.

But those birds
Who knows?

I just noticed the "tweety birds" on my chart a couple of days ago and seemed to be north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Why I don't have a clue.

I'll have to take some photos - my new GPS ( Simrad unit ) has so interesting " mistakes " in the charting.

One shows a deep hole off mouth of Severn - another has a new rockpile on far east side of bridge.

I was told some charts have hidden errors - this way they can prove if someone copies and tries to sell them.

I'll have to look for the odd symbols.
