Default Padickory point 6/19

Got out of work early and decided to make first trip in over a month on the bay. Left bodkin creek around 3:00 and made the run down in pretty smooth seas considering the stiff breeze. Set up to " sling snot". Tide and wind together made for easy slick and lines heading straight back into slick. Didn't take long and first fish at 21" on the flimsy stick. Had a storm pass about 50 yards north of us across our stern and was kinda if neat watching the water being churned by high winds and rain while we sat in relatively calm seas. Fished for a total of about three hours and finished with four fish at 21",24",23"and28". Also caught a few smalls. Did not see one skate the whole time out which I found rather odd! Hopefully it won't be another month before getting out again. Damn air conditioning business interferes with fishing too much!

From what I'm hearing you haven't missed a lot above the bridge. They just started catching them a little bit better and even some trollers are getting some action.

Thanks for the report!!
