Default Tpl 10/14/13

Played around at the mouth of the south river with smaller fish under birds. I did get one nice blue out of that jigging.Moved away and trolled in 35 feet of water. Picked up one 30" and one 20" on a 6 & 2 oz white tandem back 150'. The water looked relatively clean and no floating debris. It was a nice afternoon to be out there.

Thanks for posting; I was happy that the water looked so good. It is getting cooler though; the bait we caught today was not as frisky as last week.

Nice - I don't think I remember what a 30" fish looks like.

Were you using the 9-inch shads or the 6-inch ones? Thanks for the report!

The 6 oz had a 9" shad ,untouched.

Both fish hit the 2 oz with 6" shad.
