Default TPL area late report

Had a good day last Friday 2nd in the TPL area picking up a couple fish in 40' of water.

We were catching fish ,trash ,branches all at the same time..I mean Literally. ..

Most fish caught up high...40' off the clip..Boat rods got no bites. Chartreuse and white.

Tonight 5/6 out from 5pm till dark went from hero to zero. Not a nibble.

Few boats in the area with calm seas. Had my 5 year old boy with me, wish we could have

got one for him but he didn't care. He played captain and asked 100 questions.

P.S. best way to post pics here??

Till next time.

Jimmy

Thanks for the report. That's the great thing about fishing, just because they bit here today doesn't mean they'll bite here tomorrow. Makes you want to bang your head on the wall sometimes. I bet Jr had just as much fun being the "Captain" as he would reeling in a giant fish.

When you post, just below post box are "additional options". The second grouping down is "attach files" and a manage attachments button. I have only been able to figure out how to do 1 picture at a time so make it a good one!

Friend set me up with " Photo Bucket ".

It's free and fairly simple ( trust me ) to upload a photo.

From there - you can click little * in upper right.

This opens " Get links " and you pick option for " IMG code " on bottom of choices. You can also E mail photos from here.

It sizes photos perfect for internet sites.

Other nice thing - your photos are stored off your computer - sorta free back up.

It took me 4-5 times to get it on my own but my computer skills are not too good.

Back at it Thursday same area. Did pretty good.
Got some unders for the first time.
Again 40' and 40 off the clip was the ticket.
Boat rods did not produce. .All came off the top.
