Default Steak and Main, in Northeast ???

I'm a food junkie, and never hesitate to make a road trip for a good meal.

Was watching Travel Channel last night and low and behold they were in Northeast at Steak and Main. Looked great..

Anybody been there ???

It's been several years (5+ maybe?) since the wife and I ate there, but it was a fantastic meal and the desserts were AWESOME.

North East is a neat little town to walk through on a spring day.

There was another food show on TV that showcased Baltimore.

Think it was man vs food. Guy went to a pit beef stand on Rt. 40 - crab place and then tried to eat 4-5 pounds of steak.

Only caught bits / pieces of it.

Man versus Food is a funny show, I can relate to the Carnivore Chronicles. You know you are getting old when you watch food/cooking shows.

Yes, ate there about 2 months ago with the wife, I think I had a steak, she had fish, appetizers too, all was very good. Been there 5 times since moving up here and always a good meal. There is a laid back pub type area and a formal dining area.

Speaking of good eats, if you guys hit the flats this year, there is a new german restaurant in aberdeen called Propst. Excellent german cuisine. Its small (they hope to expand soon to a place that can have a beer garden) so make reservations, walk ins probably won't get seated, its only about 8 tables. Decent selection of german beers too.

Blakesdad - Not sure , I really was not watching the show but heard Baltimore and saw a few minutes of it.

Guy bought a cool sandwich - pit beef , turkey and another meat - all on one roll.

Damn , now you got me hungry for a pit beef sandwich.

I watched that show too. It was the steak place in Northeast. The guy tried to eat about 6 steaks and couldn't do so.

The other place on the same show was the pit beef joint on Eastern Blvd. It's just west of #95 and has a strip joint in the parking lot. Very small building but most is take-out.

This is Obryckis last winter, they are closing very soon.

That pit beef place is east of 95 on Route 40 not Eastern Ave and it is in the parking lot of the Gentleman's Gold Club. Been there and the sandwich's are great.
