Unfortunately this is NOT from yesterday, Sorry!! After fishing 10 hours yesterday with nothing to show for it, I pulled up this video hoping it would lift my spirits. Yeah, it didn't help much...

Monday was my first day out and from the opening day reports, I sure wasn't expecting a banner day. Definitely didn't think I would be skunked though!! Damn...

Hope others here fared better than I did!!

Jeff; I remember that video

I had Bruce (Hook Em) with me today for my first "in season" trip. I hadn't heard much good news either over the weekend, but C.J. called with a report of a bite way south of Deale.
Since I didn't spend any fuel this weekend, what the heck, let's run
Bruce and I put 4 fish over the gunnel (2 keepers, 2 shorts) and had two other knockdowns off the boards.
Lines in around 9am; pulled lines at 12:55pm for the long ride home.
Washed the boat while Bruce cleaned fish

Heard the bite was even better before we got there, but a good day none the less.

More bait/fish outside of the channel today. Caught everything in 40-50 ft Western side.

Good job, Marty! I heard you caught some today. Now you have me pumped to get back out! I fished north of Deale yesterday on a friends boat. Might have to invite him down south later this week.
