Default Little bait around BP area

Launched from SPSP this morning for a half day trip. Started putting the spreed out around TPL. First fish hit about 30mins. later on a single char. 8oz. 60' back. Hung on the western side with a few marks and then broke to the east side. Didn't see much there and spotted Mlag over there. Chatted with Mark and he gave me some good intel. Took his advice and ended up hooking up with a nice one on the western side of the shipping channel. This one hit a single char. 4oz. 100' back. Packed up after that one and headed back to SPSP.

Beautiful day out there today.

Good talking with you Mark, thanks for the intel.

Jon

After this winter any fish is welcome. Any day on the bay is a good day.

There were large areas where I didn't see bait. Found much more shallower than in the channel.

Thanks for the report. We saw very little bait and no rock ourselves on the meter on Saturday, but the new autopilot and boards performed flawlessly in the 2 foot rollers with 1 foot chop.
