Default caught a few Friday

Left the dock at 7:30am with Marty, Lou and my friend Mike and 8 eels.
Plan A was to share some eeling spots north of Pooles Island with friends. Fish were definitely there but not interested. After around 8 drifts at the first spot we left for plan B - the next "hot spot". Didn't even see fish there so no reason to stop. Plan C was trolling closer to home and not far from Mikes North. Put 6 fish in the boat trolling #1,2,and 3 planers with tony 15's and buck tails. 30 " came on #3 planer back 4 bars and double teachers buck tails from Spankin' Baits. Great day on the water with friends.

Way to put 'em on fish Bruce! Did you lose any tails to the blues? May have to try the bay again because the Chester has been more miss than hit for me. Then again how are you ever supposed to catch fish with only 4 rods?

A free beer always taste great. after I cleaned up I had a beer on Mike's boat next to mine and while we sat there my "stolen" eel bucket came floating down the fairway and I netted it with my big net. Still don't know how it came untied 4 eels still in the bucket !!

You must be living right. That story would have been better though if you said it came floating back with MORE eels in it than when it was lost

Looks like we will need a 36 ft or bigger boat to get out for a while
Hopefully, the forecasted winds will not develop as strong as predicted. What was the wind app. you were using? Sail........
