Default Sunday Sunpaper (Outdoor Section)

I was contacted by a young reporter from the Sunpaper who was going to write an article about Fish Handlers Disease (Mycobacterium marinum). Because of the injuries to Tawn (Strep) and Charlie (Vibrio), I convinced him to expand the article to include these organisms as well.
I was not allowed to review the article before going to print. I don't know how it turned out. If it runs this Sunday, you may want to pick up a copy.

Looks like we got "bumped" for fencing

I'll contact the reporter and see what happened.

Yeah. You gotta worry about gettin' tetanus from those rusty swords - or was it about the kind of fencing that makes good neighbors?

The reporter called yesterday to get the correct spelling of my name. He said the article is slated to run this Sunday (8 Dec) in the outdoors section.

That's good news. Like Marty pointed out, we've had way too many traumatic infections this year.

But I guess you know that already.....

Did you check out the online version? A lot of "papers" have different content online than what's actually "printed."

Nevermind....I just searched and the only recent thing was this gem:

Hi Guys....This reporter, (Brian), has called me numerous times to confirm spelling of my name, where I live, where we were fishing when infected etc, etc, etc! Each time he moves up the date of the article by a week.? I still haven't seen it and I'm not buying any more papers!!
