Default No big fish for me

Left Deale in the fog 6:30am Thursday morning. Fog was just lifting on the western shore side as we headed south. Set out a spread of mostly 9" baits and a couple of 6" baits mixed in. Caught five 26 to 30 inch fish on 6" baits but no bites from the big fish today. Jigged a few at the end of the day. As always, it was a great day on the water with friends. Enjoyed fishing and staying in touch with the The Fifth Tuition and MLAG. Also enjoyed the cold beer at Happy Harbor afterwards.

The drinks were especially good after a nice warm day swatting flies!

A half dozen or so shorts for us trolling as well The jigging bite wasn't as good as the previous day, but we got a few in the boat

This has been my worst year Trophy fishing. I realize we don't get out every day like charters, but we know enough to be able to boat a few keepers

I'm looking forward to the summer/fall fishing Always optimistic.
