Default Stumped

Am I the only one who is stumped as to where to fish In years past, as soon as the Md. season came to a close, we hit the Smith Point Va. line to keep fishing.
I have been looking at lots of fishing sites trying to get a handle on where there is a concentration of fish (either migratory or resident). Most of the posts show only sporatic action. I would travel to OC, Smith Point, or PLO for the opportunity to get on fish.
Things look rather bleak. I've never been to the CBBT or Virginia Beach, but even these places are struggling.

I need to run the boat to pass some "ring free", "startron", and "marine stabil" through the engine. Later this week looks very promising as far as weather. Anybody got any good ideas

I'll be calling some marinas (Buzz's) and some tackle stores (in O.C.) for some intel. If I can't find a productive area, I guess I will just be taking a ride out of Sandy Point and unloading the boat for winter storage

I have a few upgrades to make on the boat this winter (still have some Charter tip money burning a hole in my pocket) My season may be done very soon.

Just three months until St Patrick's Day (when I usually start C/R sason).

Launch at the Piney Point ramp on the river and fish upriver a couple of miles to the Ragged Point area or downriver to #9. I know it's probably a long drive for you, but some good reports right now from that area.

I cannot find where the piney point ramp is located Jeff. Do you have an address? It is a bit of a run from PLO.
