Default Jess's first fish and stream Report 4/11 - 4/12

we sponsor a bunch of midshipmen from the Naval Academy but they are always busy doing things that young college students do...one of our mids, Jessica was over on Friday and said "When are you gonna take me fishing", I said well it's gonna have to be Sunday or you are going to have to wait for a few months since the boat is coming out of the water...so we threw together a trip with my buddies AJ, Clay, and Jim and took Jess too...

headed down to my boat Early Sunday and the plan was to troll since I knew we could for sure get Jess a fish and it was too hit or miss to jig and teach her to jig in the 2-3 hours we had to fish...we had our first hit 3 mins after putting the spread out and Jess lost the fish (probably due to no barbs as she did everything right)...dont want to put too many details for the haters and people that are against PSC&R but Jess got her fish, 35" and she was about as happy as a pig in ****...

MONDAY, April 12th
my favorite ways to fish are in order:
1.) back creek fishing in the ICW for flounder, trout, reds, etc...
2.) offshore fishing for big game
3.) stream fishing
we'll stop there, since I couldnt' do #1 or #2 due to being close to home I had an appointment in Philly Monday and decided to do #3
had a blast, 2 hours of fishing 75 fish with my good friends Stan and Joe
I left them, Stan stayed all day, spent the night and is still fishing today on Wednesday (3 days later (he started sunday)) he is the epitome of hard core!

there's my report for the year...

That is one hell of a report for a whole year. Glad that you could get Jess her fish and by the smile on her face she was enjoying every minute of it. Thanks for the report and very nice pics. What’s going on with your boat, did I miss something….

Congrats on getting Jess her first trolling fish..... If you need help teaching those Navy girls how to cast, let me know!

I really like the **REAL** fishing pics of the shad. Good report, Mark.

I agree Shawn...it's embarassing just to post it, but I'm proud of my little girl...
she'll be living with me all summer, so tell me when you got time and I'll send her your way
