Default Crabbing in the Patapsco...8/8

Dug out 12 traps, and played around in the Patapsco. Started around 7:30. Stopped around 3, with 16 in the boat. Crabs were huge. One 9 in., two 8 1/4, two 8. Only had one under 7, it was only 6 1/2. All were very heavy. My girl filled up on 1 crab, I could only eat 4, and that took a little effort. Lots of perch, and croaker, to keep us busy between runs. Back to fishing on Sunday.

Congrats on a 9 inch monster.

I think Md DNR gives a citation ( award ) for a 9 inch crab.
