Probably a good choice not heading into the patapsco early. Saw reports of about 50 boats trolling in there. Glad I didnt go out till afternoon. But I also didnt catch anything till I pulled in the trolling gear at 5:30 and tried a little topwater amongst some working birds.
We got back to the dock at around 345pm...that was 'supposed' to be near high tide in Back River, yet we barely got the boat back on the lift even after 2 of the 3 of us got out and pulled...all in all it was a little bit of a strange day but great to be out again after such a long hiatus.
