Default Pair of 60 inchers - wish they were fish

Got a pair of 60 inchers - just not fish
Fellow TFer Bmudowney has a sweet 29 foot Robbins but had a slight problem with her.
Got a dock line wrapped tight on the prop and shaft - tight enough to stall the motor.
Luckily - water is now warm enough to dive so we met up this morning to see if I could get the line loose.

Using a local dock that offered parking - swam over to his boat. Went under for a look and could see the 1/2 inch line wound up tight. Then the silt I stirred clouded the water so it was tough to see.

Gave up trying to see and worked by feel. I was able to unwind some of the line but had to carefully cut it. Got to be careful using heavy shears - they will cut off a finger as well as a line.
Handed up the first 5 foot length - then went back for the rest.

Got the rest of the line out after some tricky unknotting. Amazing how a prop can tie a line into a figure eight.

Dove to bottom around the dock and found a few beer bottles but nothing good. Did feel a crab under my glove but could not see it.
Back at the parking lot - a young boy was surprised to see me surface.
Fun way to start the dive season - just wish I could see a few feet.

Skip, you're a class act. Thanks for lending your help and expertise to the guy with the dock line tangles.
