Default Anyone else make it to Tri State ?

Was able to spend an hour or so there...Talked to a few folks...Picked up some new lures for the spring...Prices did seem better than at Earleigh Heights...Crowd was smaller by far...Worth the time though...

Anybody see anything really new ? Or find something different they may try ?

Thumbs up

Didn't need anythink just went to check it out and socialize. Most all the same vendors that was at the Pasadena Sportfishing Flea Market held at Earleigh Heights fire hall. Meet a few vendors that wanted to come to the PSG Flea Mkt. but outside was too cold for them. There was one vendor that was selling small bucktails used for bottom bouncing and he said he will be at the PSG show next year. I did see alot of used stuff like parachutes and other used lures but the fishermen were more interest in new lures. All & All it was a good show and I enjoyed seeing everone again.

It was a great show. talked with a lot of CB Anglers and to talked fishing with a few people. Managed to pick up some great deals on some used Cripple alewife, parachute lures and a few reels. Then stopped by Marty’s and ventured to Bass Pro. CB Angler Ralph AKA Reel Smith was giving demonstrations of reel maintenance and repair.

Good day out of the house.

Where is Spring?

Made it too. Meet some new people. Ate some scrapple at happy harbor. Good times. Found used parachutes and some cheap plastics for me, a $1 rod for Morsax, and a bunch of cheap freshwater stuff for a friend who is just getting into fishing. However, it was what I missed...

Hesitated a bit on 2 Penn Powerhandles for $5 each...didn't think I needed them but found out today while working on some used reels I bought over the summer I did need them...should have bought them just because of the price, they were gone in minutes.

There was a guy with 2 6/0 senators (I believe) on old rods (one usable)...I think he would have gone as low as $100 for the pair...just didn't have that in the budget this year. Wonder if anyone picked them up.

Damm I can’t believe I didn’t see the two power stroke handles. I also missed a bucket of lead a guy was selling for a few bucks.

OH Well when the next flea market?

Defiantly a good time and great opportunity to put some more names to faces.
