Default 10/4 and 10/5 Here There and Everywhere

Headed out in the late afternoon with Scott on Friday (OMG maybe the nicest day of the year weather wise)..Trolled for an hour or so along the western channel edges of the shipping channel...Got a few dinks doing that, was so nice we decided to find a good spot to anchor and cast for a couple of hours...Wish the report was good....Spent our time in 6 to 10 foot and got a few fish here and there but nothing to write home about...

Was not into going to the boat show Saturday, it was just too nice out...headed towards Baltimore Light/Magothy...Some bait, more than the day before but it did not start getting thick until I crossed over and headed the the Dumping Grounds...From there along the eastern side of the bay, past Love Point for a couple of miles, bait was thick and everywhere...Both stripers and blues were breaking...Pulled in numerous nice rock in the 18 to 22 inch range, along with a few double hook up Blues up on Capt John spreaders....The best depth was 30 to 40 feet....Stripers were down low and the blues all over the surface...

Ended up the evening eating crabs with the family at Mike's North...Starting to love that place...

The best one of the day was this nice 27"....

Mike: You need to upgrade to the new "hands free fish."

It's illegal to handle a fish while behind the wheel of a boat now.

Friday was a beautiful day. I ended up at the Jetty with a boat full of people
and then a great ride back to Middle River watching the sun go down.

I am hoping that the wind will die down towards the end of the week and Friday through Sunday will be good again....Crossing my fingers that the rain this week does not have a detrimental effect on the fishing...
