The Conowingo Pool is 9,000 acres. Years ago I fished there a lot. Our Bass Club would have a tournament there every year. There are plenty of areas up there to fish. From the last cove near the damn to Muddy Run in PA.

A lot of anglers fish at the discharge below Peach Bottom in the winter. The ramp at Peach Bottom is VERY steep and I have used it but it's not fun.
Smallies, largemouth, walleye, stripers, etc... are there.
