All,
As the bay is recovering from Irene and Lee the fall fishing is heating up! The DC Metro MSSA chapter will meet October 5, 7:30pm at Steamers Seafood house in Bethesda. Relax, enjoy a cold beer, and good food while we discuss all manner of saltwater fishing topics. This month’s speaker is Charlie Schneider, the captain of the Big Will out of Tilghman Island. Charlie will be sharing tips on catching fall rockfish by any means necessary. Bring a guest to their first DCMSSA meeting and I will buy you a beer.
As usual at the meeting, we will be sharing fishing reports and tips. We will also be discussing the current tuna bite offshore, bay fishing, crabbing and the upcoming run of big rockfish etc. We will also discuss the recent DCMSSA Kids day. Door prizes will be fantastic, including a very nice light tackle spinning rod and other gear.
Don’t miss the meeting, Wednesday Oct 5, 7:30pm at Steamers Seafood House, 4820 Auburn Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. There is plenty of parking, and the meeting is only a few blocks from the metro.
