ANOTHER 525,000 gallons of sewage spilled into the Patapsco.
And I never heard about the
100 million gallons that spilled after Irene a few weeks ago.
Should we be holding municipal or county governments liable for these types of things? What about the contractor that recently installed the new pipes that failed?

More sewage has spilled into the Patapsco River, which saw 100 million gallons of raw sewage spill after Hurricane Irene.
The most recent spill occurred early Saturday when a joint failed in pipes that had been installed after Irene.
Some 525,000 gallons of sewage spilled from a 54-inch concrete pipe into the lower Patapsco.
Baltimore County spent $500,000 to replace aging pipes earlier this month after a main conduit ruptured after the hurricane.
County officials have posted signs along the river saying the water is unsafe to swim or wade in, or even touch.
