I've heard him mentioned before...is he local to Annpolis? If so I might give him a call rather than take it to the other local place that hasn't been very good to me lately.
Ed is a great guy to know. Very honest / fair to deal with.
His shop is in Essex - he travels to about South River area.
If you are not in a rush - he might be able to stop by when he is near your area.
He can often fix stuff over the phone if you are fairly handy.
Your switch might be out of adjustment or loose wire. Ed can tell you 2-3 things to check or how to narrow it down to a bad switch.
