Ouch! You must have more blood to boil than I do. I would have given up after 11 hours and 45 minutes!

Default Breezy

I was hoping by posting my misery that I could get a dialogue started to see if the other fisherman where having problems finding the rockfish the last week and a half?

The guys that fished north end of the bay seemed to have difficulty in finding fish this year. I think the massive runoffs from the snows and rains early in the year threw everything off kilter. I did a trip out of Breezy opening week. I dipped my finger in the water when we got to the fishing grounds and it was almost like tap water. The fishing improved the further south you went.

We trolled 17 lines for 8 hours out of Soloman's on the 12th and got 0. It's late in the season and the may worm hatch was in full swing. Sounds like good excuses to me...........Gary

It has been a very tough bite for most.
I fished Thursday - got 4 in about 9 hours.
