Had some friends from Baltimore and Dover today so met everyone at Sandy Point. With the tide change, we met at 7:30 and hopefully would be set up by the time the tide turned. It was RIPPING in, and very bumpy out there with South winds around 20mph. Ran south to the Severn and set a 14 rod spread. Caught 4 fish in 35-40' and 3 fish in 50-60'. Fish were 37-41" and we kept 4 fish, released 3, and had a knockdown.
Had a charter buddy come down there and he struggled all day. When I left at 2:00 he had 1 but he did end up with 4 by 5:00
Weather got better as the day progressed and ran back to Tolchester on flat seas.
FWIW- Dark color heads seem to be doing the best whether used with green or white.
Saturday morning we caught 3 fish in 50-60' down there in the same area. Biggest was 44.5" which was released.
