Thumbs up Report for Tues. 10/23

The Spot seem to be holding up well but for how long....anyone knows. We replenished our 3 , 55gal holding tanks on Monday. Despite the weather report we had to get out yesterday so we got a crew together and off we went. We headed right back down to Stone Rock where we had good luck on the weekend. There were three of us there, two H&L boats and us. It was very slow although we started off with our biggest Blue this year followed immediately, on the same rod, with a real nice 26" Rock.
It died after that and we had to make a move. Went south to Clay Bank but didn't mark anything. Went over to the Gooses by #3. A few H&L boats were there but again they were not doing anything. Found some real good marks about 1/4 mi away and proceeded to pick away at small rock and Blues for awhile. We had 5 keeper rock and a few nice blues when I got a call to come back to Stone Rock. The blues were going nuts. As soon as the spot hit the water it was eaten by big blues!! On the light tackle we use for LLing, we had a ball! Most of the time everyone was hooked up or busy landing fish!
We filled the cooler with big blues and finally left them biting.

We were out today on "Patent Pending" and had similar results. Filled the cooler with big bluefish. Even trolling; they are fun to catch two at a time on spreader bars.

If the rock are under the blues, we couldn't tell because the blues were so aggressive.

We looked in deeper water (35-45 ft) and found ours.

The bay was beautiful today, flat and 80* air temps. It won't be long before the Keen's and the shorts get put away for shoes and long pants.
