Slipping your boat for Spring Rock Fish
Ok gang, I am starting to get fired up for some fishing. Finished my wish list of planed upgrades for the boat. Finished cleaning waxing and re spooling all the trolling rods. Just set up all of my equipment to start making my own parachute lures. I am on my way to having the rig splashed in around 2nd – 3rd week in March for a shake down and to burn off some old fuel.
One thing I did for the first time last year was slip my boat for the spring season at Solomon’s. I normally drag the rig wherever I fish for the day. During spring season this can be a little bit of a pain. I loved the ease of the slip and I fished a lot more because of it last year. I just made my reservation for a 5week transient slip and I looking forward to as good of season as I had last year.
I would highly recommend slipping your boat for the early season if you feel comfortable with it.
Anyone slipping there boat down south? I need some Neighbors
