Sandy Point closed - New Years day

Just a heads up - sandy Point is closed on New Year's day. They close Christmas as well - only two days they are not open.

Sad thing - I found out first hand for both

Until the ice gets too thick to get out - good fishing near the eastern rockpile for big Perch and C/R Rockfish.

The main gate was padlocked - 1/4 mile before the gate house.

No way to get in - even by driving around it , not that I thought about it.
