Default Man it was NASTY out 11-14-2011

We tried to catch some fish tonight, but the wind was fierce and the waves were a constant 2' with some gnarly swells.

We got to our spot around 5:15 and I had a bite on the second cast, but no taker.

A few casts later something whacked it good and snapped the line awfully quick. It felt too big to be a Blue, and we're pretty far north and have only seen 3 small Blues all year. Either a Big Rockfish or maybe one of the goliath Catfish that have been attacking our lures lately.

"Awesome! It's gonna' be a good night!" I thought to myself.

Strung up another lure and went to town. Except that no one else was in town.

Not another bite the rest of the night.

The wind picked up to a steady 15 to 20 mph, so we ducked into the creek for some shelter and tried for some smaller fish, again with no luck....but it was dark by then and getting cold anyway so we came back to the dock and killeda few Coronas.
