Default Tuesday upper bay

Met Marty at 6:00 am and jumped on my boat to see if we could get some action on the upper bay. Wind was stronger than it was supposed to be so the first jigging spot didn't produce anything with 15 knot + north wind and out going current we couldn't hit bottom in 13 feet of water. We decided to troll so we went to the tripples and set 6 lines with planers and tubes and spoons. after an hour of no bait or fish on screen we pulled lines and put on storm shad rigs and went down to closer to the bridge. Managed 1 19 1/2" fish and saw very little bait. The bait we did see was in 50+ feet of water. We pulled lines and went into the Chester and found some nice marks and some scattered bait but no takers. Wind laid down enough to jig so we tried it in the Chester and managed on small rock. Left and hit 3 oyster bars on the way home and jigged with no success. Wind made it difficult to control the boat today. Lot of miles and no dinner. Thanks Marty for setting and re setting lines all day and recovering the umbrella that hung on bottom. Always a fun day with friends on the bay.
