Yes, you can catch some nice cats on eels. I hate to say it but the cats fight harder than rockfish. Fishing eels is OK but a pain when boats pull up within 10 feet of you after you catch one
. The fish seem to gather in very small holes, and you need to be right on top of them. I would rather troll or live line.
