Went to a friends party last night which was also a crab feast. Looked in one of the 3 baskets and saw a good bit of red. Females.
Well, all three baskets were females. I was there and they were there so I ate them. All big, fat and very tasty. It still bothers me that these females were caught ( by a commercial crabber) and just brought $35.00 a basket.
