Thumbs up Breaking in the Big Will II

After a slow start last weekend, Sat-1 under & 1 42" Sun- 2 unders, it broke open this weekend!! Sat- Hooked 10, lost 2, 2 throwbacks (38,39) and 6 nice keepers to 43". Sun- Hooked 8, lost 2, 1 throwback (39") 5 fish limit, largest 46"!! Today (Mon) very fast 6 fish limit to 36" no overs today. We were done by 8:30. Three days - three Limits, not a bad way to Christen the new boat! Oh, we were in the False Channel area with a lot of company We found a way to "beat the jellies", we started using small (4") umbrellas w/ single chutes, 2, 3, & 4oz back 4 - 7 bars. Kept some tandems in the spread but the deeper the lures the more jellies they collected so I kept the m the closest to the boat so it was easier to clean them. The small umbrellas caught the jellies but the lures stayed clean!
