Steve, I have raised this question before on the other board and I was told that if you have a 4 stroke motor then you should "Only" use Yamaha oil in it if you have a Yamaha motor. I have over 800 hours on my motor and I have only used Yamaha oil. Is it OK to use a different kind of oil in a 4 stroke motor???? I do know it would be less expensive to use a different kind of oil but I don’t want to mess anything up...
