PETA; please send all complaints to Rex.

These are very nice lures and I can't wait to have some in my spread this year.

*disclaimer; I am in no way compensated by fishnut in any way. Not even a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Oops, I forgot, I'm not on that "other" board. I didn't need the disclaimer.

Marty for you I will work on painting the chin. I may have an old T-Shirt around that I can give you and magic marker Fish Nut on it. I am also working on some new flash tape for the chin. Same stuff they used on the Tony Acetta spoons I am trying to apply in smoothly on the beak and then clear coat over it to seal it permanently.

I will be keeping her at spring Cove in Solomon’s for spring season. Then back on the trailer mid late May. Will move around catching what I can in different areas. One area I am going to try is Stone Rock for Black Drum. I am crossing my fingers and trying to set up a Shark Trip or two in June. Then I will settle in on the trailer and launch out of Sandy Point and Chesapeake beach most days. Hope to hit Buzz marina when the Spaniards and Red Drum come in.

Not hard to do. Just put the beak into the paint and tip back.

The baits look good. I'm in the shed today doing some pouring myself.
Spynet000, Thanks for the tips. Your suggestions and tips have decreased the learning curve a bit. Thank you for all of your help. I am still learning little tricks every time I sit down and work with the lures. One thing I have learned quickly is the difference in good lures and lures when someone is just tying to sell a bunch and doesn’t care. I like nice equipment so I try to make the best stuff I can.

now I can bore everyone on the boat about making lure that only catch 50” fish
