Actually, I'm more interested in seeing if the weather conditions (sunny day or cloudy day) influences your color of lure head or shad. Rule of thumb is light on sunny day dark on cloudy day. If you run spoons, rule is, use silver on sunny day and gold on cloudy day.
Marty, I agree on the John Deere Green. If I had 30 plus lures out last spring, the fish picked that color the most. Didn't matter if it was sunny or cloudy. It also produced deep on boat rods as well as 5-10 feet on board rods.
