Well, we had to investigate. There were about 15-20 kite surfers having a ball Granted, they were in wet suits, but still, most had exposed hands and face.
We spoke to one surfer dude who explained that they were not a club, but that they had a web sight that watches the weather and decides on a place to wind surf. He said this was great weather for the East Coast. Most winds precede a cold front, so they are used to what we fishermen would call "bad" weather. Although, he was from the West Coast, and was used to warmer weather.
It was fun to watch and a good side trip on the other side of the bridge
