My wife offered to go fishing with me Sunday since I didn't have anyone lined up to go. The fish seem to be moving northward so we jigged on some of the oyster bars above the Brewerton. I was trying to teach her how to jig a 3/4 oz. spoon and explaining that she needed to feel the lure on the drop because that is when the fish will bite
. She did manage a few rock and perch before we decided to eat lunch and go in
. All in all we managed about 20 rock up to 19" and about the same number of perch and a few blues. Mostly in 13 to 18 ft. Didn't keep any. It was just a fun day.
