Keep in touch, as I will tell you what seems to be working for PSCR on Patent Pending.
I can tell you that last year (end of March) we were running:
1) six pack (all 9 inch shads) back 200-220'
2) 2 + 4 and 2 + 6 tandems off the boards back 5 bar (both port + Starboard)
3) one deep umbrella (16-20 oz) back 75'
That totals 6 rods
In early March (before the bay had turned over
) all our marks were very deep in warm water. The fish were hard to reach trolling
. I had umbrella's with 32 oz on them to get down deeper. Not fun with that much weight, but you do what you need to do.
If I had any sense; I would buy two of Rob's (fishnut) mojos and rig up a tandem rig with 20 + 10 oz parachutes
If anybody tries this, let me know how you are doing with the mojo.
Fishing is right around the corner.
