new boats and motors

Wow. Had the chance to get out with a few friends fishing. One buddy has a verado on back of his boat. That thing is quiet.... tons of power. . I am impressed.

On an other note Carolina Classic just Released a CC 25 with two 300 HP Outboards on the back. She tops out at 50 knts +:eek: may need an upgrade

Go to gas pumps when they fill that boat with twin 300HP's up - OUCH.

I dont like feeding a single 225 honda. I would hate to feed twin 300's.

I have a 454 big block in the CC now, she cruises 21 knts comfortably 9000 lbs boat. Will run 30 kts hammer down. Just can't imagine the haul running 50kts - 60kts. Of course I have been on a 55' Viking which cruises close to 40 knt. Speed is money how fast can you afford to go.
