Hi Ho, Hi Ho

Yep, it's off to work I go, :D

Looks like a good day for calm winds, but I won't need sunscreen:D

We have been coming out of Deale and turning south. I expect we will be between the radar towers and the CP buoy today.

I hope we get on the fish early:)

Good luck sir! I am leaving for ESVA tomorrow afternoon to chase the flat ones thru Sat. Staying/fishing out of wachupreage on a 26' world cat with 150 Suzukis. If anyone happens to be in that area this weekend, please say hello.

Might try to get out of Queen Anne Marina Sunday as my time down there is rapidly coming to an end. I will be out Monday as long as it is decent weather, which may be my last trip below the bridge before heading north to Tolchester.

I guess the Capt John spoonbrellas will be coming out soon, right?

I spied Marty at WaWa at 4:45am :D

As a matter of fact, they came out today:eek: We were struggling......he11, we were more than struggling. We did real well last Friday, today, we never put a trophy in the box:mad:
Mid morning, we switched 7 rods over to spreader bars with storm shads or Johns spoons. We picked up several unders, and lost one big fish on spreader bar:(
No charters until Friday. We will have some 9 inch baits, but mostly small baits on our rigs.

Greg did real well out of Solomon's, but several charters out of Deale struggled today.
Perhaps it was just a bad day, but with our charters spread out with three or four days between, it will be hard to tell.

Best of luck to everyone,

We spent four hours this am from the anchorage area to buoy 1 with out a hit.

Others we spoke with had similar reports. Time to do something different.

Has anyone else noticed the weird tides this spring?? High tide this am reported to be at 8.15 at tpl. We launched at 7.30 with ships bows facing north and stayed that way for some time..

When the ship's swung for an incoming tide they didn't stay that way for long.

Hope to get out at the weekend but it will not be trolling.

Jimmy

Ps..seen a boat with blue curtains thought it might have been Marty??

And no we did not follow it around. :)

Jimbob, that wasn't me. I was out on the charter. My Judge is still in the slip. I only get a few hours to run her in the evenings with the wife. My spring spread has never seen the water:eek:
Now that charters are tapering off, I'll get my spreader bars ready:D. My SteveF jigging rod also sees some action:)

The best news is that Bruce and Jeff move their boats north. Between the three of us, we will have the resident fish located. Phill keeps his boat up their as well. Love point to rock hall usually holds some fish.

Now that Trophy season is just about over (still good fish between Solomon's and Point Lookout), I think it's time for another get together. Maybe Mikes Crabhouse North?
