7/11/15 Croaker
 

Finally found them sat. night.

Got out late and jigged up a couple dink rock.

Moved away from them and set up for croaker in

25' with shrimp. Could not find them could not get a bite.

Give it a good try over the shell bottom near West River 1 but no takers.

Give up on that moved into 18 feet over shells near the mouth of the South River.

That was the ticket I got into them pretty good kept a dozen up to 14 inches.

There were none of the pesky little ones around ,everything we found were keeper size and better.

Hopefully this is just the beginning they were a lot of fun on light tackle one of the best

fighting fish out there I believe.

I'm pretty sure I know the spot, and its been good to us this season during daylight for perch....

....But croakers?!! This will be music to Kate's ears. Thanks for the post and the general intel!
