Shake down Sunday
1 Attachment(s)
Looks like Sunday 4/9 is going to be the best weather day for a shake down.
Need to see if everything works and practice putting over and retrieving the Monster boards. If everything checks out might drag a few to see if I have any Kung Fu left. any one else shaking down this weekend? |
Holy Crap; they hardly fit in the pickup:D

I hope to be out Sunday. If water is too muddy, may just ride. If too much debris, may stay in the slip. No point in whacking a prop the week before opening day!
|
Finishing up getting everything on the boat and maintenance done. Probably be out Wednesday on the way to Herrington.
|
Might start north of the bridge then head towards the south and severn.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I won't have to be towed in. See everyone around 8:30am
Finished 90 % of my list yesterday most things seem in order. Just alot of scrubbing and waxing next week. Before the cruise to Herrington North . Last year I hung with Bruce at South. Couldn't resist I ended up with monster boards. If I went to South this year near Bruce'S 36 I would probably end up having judge 36 and a divorce. I don't think I can afford both.:D I'll be in the same area Mike. |
Anyonr have any success?
I struck out.... |
A swing and a miss for me. Found some issues at the ramp that needed repairing. I bagged the trip headed to the barn for repairs. I like having things perfect as possible when it comes to the boat . Hope to have her back in the water one day this week before friday. Probably launch at Ft Smallwood. Drag some boards around in the patapsco and freak DNR out:D No rod's just boards
|
Did my shakedown run also on Sunday. The water visibility was maybe 6". Only fished for about an hour. Hopefully it clears up some this week. I did notice the dredge crews at the mouth of the Patapsco so I am sure the Western side will stay dirty.
